What does everyone think of this forum.

Personally I liked it, but seems were on it in every computer class we have
and i dont feel Im learning from it, its a load of bollox.
What do others think

To be honest with ya Lynne, I never really liked it, i didn't think it was benefiting us in anyway at all.
I know it gets the fingers to know wer the letters are but other t that, there's not a lot more we learn,
I'd love it to go back to wen we wer actually learning things on the computer, like Excel and Access etc..
So please god it gets back to actual learning, teaching us about things that will benefit us wen we do
eventually leave....

Life is what you make of it, just like this forum, its only as good as how much you use it.

In adult education there is a concept called 'self directed learning', which moves the student beyond the teacher to become a self educator. That is one of the ideas behind the forum. The same concept can be applied to learning excel and access. Learn how to use the internet as a teacher. Just go on to you tube and see how much you can learn there about excel and access.

The forum is also an opportunity for people to express their voice, to become their own publishers... thats what social media is about, empowering people to use the internet to communicate and influence change.

In Sankalpa we encourage people to be proactive i.e. to take responsibility for their own lives and learning.
