tips for using the Internet

If anyone has any tips for using the internet effectively, post them here to help others.

For example: Use google chrome instead of Internet Explorer, as a browser, it works far better.

Also: Keep a secret record of your passwords; of emails, the forum etc. If possible, use similar (hard-to-guess)passwords so you don't have a million different ones.

Beware of spam and clicking onto anything that flashes!!!!!
(especially that flashing message sign on the forum, above!!)

Be patient!! Alot of my computer skills come from
